Consultation packages
Four packages, in sequence: you move up a level only if you need to. Prices are identical on video call and in person — what changes is how the survey is gathered, not the design work or the deliverables you receive. For on-site work in Verona and its province, only the site visit is added, listed further down.

Above 120 m² there is no step change: you start from the last band's price and the rate applies only to the square metres above it. The floor area is the usable area of the room or rooms being worked on, not of the whole property. For several separate rooms the sliding discount below applies. You can move from the floor-plan consultation to the full furnishing design later on, paying the difference between the two packages with no surcharge.

The dimensioned drawings for joiners and fitters are the set the people doing the work need: plans with construction dimensions, elevations of bespoke units, sections through the tricky junctions, positions of wastes, sockets and light points, and laying details for tiles and flooring. They are not included in the packages because they are only needed when a joiner or a contractor has something bespoke to build.
The initial introductory call is never charged: it is there to understand the project and update the quote before you choose a package. Payment terms: 40% on commencement, 60% on delivery. The orientation call is deducted from the package if you continue within 30 days.
On-site services — Verona and province
The packages above apply in person too, at the same price. What follows is only what gets added when working on site.

The site visit fee is deducted from the quote if the work is commissioned. No travel charge beyond the amounts listed within 30 km of central Verona. Planning applications and structural supervision are handled by qualified external professionals whose fees are stated separately and do not pass through us.
Where to spend and where to save
Worth the money
- Mattress and base. You spend a third of your life there and the difference shows from night one.
- Furniture hardware. Hinges, full-extension runners, gas struts: the first components to fail.
- Kitchen worktop. It works every day under knives, heat and acids. It ages worst if chosen badly.
- Lighting. It shifts how everything else is perceived, and changing it later means opening walls.
- Seating used daily. Main sofa and dining chairs: the rest can wait.
- The design itself. It costs a fraction of the furniture and prevents mistakes that cost far more than the fee.
Where you can save
- Closed storage units. Behind a closed door, a well-built melamine carcass is indistinguishable from a far dearer one.
- Accessories and decoration. Vases, art, cushions: they change often and don't need to last twenty years.
- Children's rooms. They change function every five or six years; buy for adaptability, not longevity.
- Rugs in circulation routes. They wear out anyway; better to replace than restore.
- Guest and secondary bedrooms. Low use, low investment.
- Spectacular finishes in secondary spaces. Nobody sees the marble in the utility cupboard.
Always hold back 10% of the total budget as a reserve. In practice almost every project meets at least one surprise: a dimension that doesn't work, a discontinued item, a drain to move. Those with a reserve solve it; those without cut the last remaining item, which is usually the lighting.
On pricing
Does the design fee pay for itself?
Often yes, but indirectly. A correct layout avoids bespoke units that weren't needed; a clear materials schedule avoids the mark-ups that appear when a supplier has to "interpret"; critically reading quotes almost always reduces the cost of the kitchen and the joinery. On a €30,000 furnishing budget the typical optimisation margin is 10–20% — between €3,000 and €6,000.
We don't promise it as a sales claim: it depends how optimised your starting plan already was. But it's why the design is worth doing before buying, not after.
Why does the same kitchen cost twice as much from one retailer to another?
Because "the same kitchen" almost never is. Carcass thickness, door type, hinge and runner brand, worktop, appliances and — above all — what is included in the price: delivery, installation, removal of the old kitchen, connections, plinth, upstand, under-cabinet lighting. Always ask for the written specification item by item: that's where the difference lives, not in the rendering.
Is a bespoke kitchen worth it?
A modular kitchen almost always wins where the space is regular: industrial economies of scale are hard to beat. Bespoke makes sense in three cases: irregular or very narrow spaces, unusual heights to use up to the ceiling, and requirements no catalogue covers. The typical bespoke premium is 25–40% for the same materials.
How much does fitting add to the prices I see?
Far more than people expect, and it's almost never included in supply-only price lists. Orders of magnitude: parquet laying €20–45/m², porcelain €25–50/m² (up to €70 for large formats), kitchen installation €400–900, wardrobe assembly €150–400, wallpaper hanging €15–30/m². When comparing two quotes, always check whether fitting is in or out.
Do you give discounts?
The sliding scale for multiple rooms is already in the price list. We don't negotiate case-by-case discounts: that would mean the starting price was inflated. What we do gladly is reduce the scope when a budget is tight — fewer renders, fewer rooms, no construction drawings — so you pay less for less work, not less for the same work done worse.
